It was moving how the voiced their feelings to us about what they were thinking about while building. The families who will live, eat, pray and grow inside these walls were top of mind all day. Laughter was louder than the hammering and smiles were brighter than the summer sun.
This event could not have come close to being as brilliant as it was if it were not for the hard work and dedication of volunteers and staff, but no one works as hard as Alison Treleaven. She is amazing and makes it look so easy. We love you, Ali!
Thanks so much to our fantastic contributors and our food and beverage donors who kept everyone fed and hydrated thoughout the day! They were all amazing!
