Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles makes homeownership possible for hardworking families earning less than 80% of the median household income. Habitat partner families that qualify must pay back a zero interest loan; agree to give 500 hours of “sweat equity” building their home or their neighbors’ home and currently live in substandard conditions. Homeowner orientations are the first step in the application process and are mandatory. Applicants will be considered for ten homes currently under construction in the City of Lynwood.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF GREATER LOS ANGELES strives to eliminate poverty housing through advocacy, education and partnership with families in need to build simple, decent affordable housing.
