Hey Los Angeles! It's Kyle Olson, intern for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA). Last night we spent some time kicking it with all the celebrities who came out for the Paddlejam 2010 event in Hollywood. We got to watch teams of celebrities play in a ping pong tournament to support their favorite charities! Of course, I was biased towards the Habitat for Humanity team - headed up by Zach Levi (NBC's CHUCK) and Simon Helberg (CBS's THE BIG BANG THEORY), two cute boys who did us proud! Our guys made it to the finals, but unfortunately took second place to LMFAO. Not too bad considering they took out opponents like George Lopez and Quinton Aaron. Overall, the night was a hit and we got to talk to all the participating players about HFH GLA's work on the red carpet! Zach and Simon, thanks for "saving humanity, one ping pong game at a time, and better luck next time guys! Number two on the tables, but number one in our hearts!"
