Building with E! News' Kristina Guerrero and her Family During National Women Build Week

This year we celebrate the 5th anniversary of National Women Build Week, sponsored by Lowe's, which challenges women in every state to devote at least one day between May 5 and 13 to creating affordable housing in their communities.

The theme this year is "The Build Generations" which reflects Habitat Women Build's goal to recruit and train women volunteers, as well as welcome the next generation of Habitat women builders - young women ages 18-24 - to help support our mission to create affordable housing.

We were very excited to have Kristina Guerrero from E! News, her mother Delma and sister Amanda with us during our build day in Long Beach.  Delma and Amanda flew from Washington state to join us building and we were so thrilled to have them.  Watch this video featuring Kristina during our break for lunch and you'll understand why she is the ideal choice to be the National Spokesperson for National Women Build Week and why we were so touched to build alongside she and her family.
