This weekend is the sequel of carmadgeddon in Los Angeles and it is also our premiere build weekend event sponsored by Lowe’s. As carmageddon descends on L.A., celebrity do-gooders, as well as power men and women from all sectors will descend on Sony Picture Studios to frame walls for affordable homes to be constructed nearby in 2013. We realize that many Angelenos will be cruising the Internet instead of the 405 and want to encourage all of you to be a part of our events online!

All of the fun starts tomorrow, September 26, with our Twitter Party! From 3-4 pm (PDT), we will be on Twitter discussing the Lowe’s Power Women Power Tools and Lowe’s Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity Build-a-thon events, using the hashtag #BuildHLC. Follow along to learn how these events will bring high-profile people together to raise awareness about the need for affordable housing. There will also be opportunities to answer questions and win prizes!
