Today is an exciting day for General Hospital fans – registration is open for the second annual “House That General Hospital Fans Built” event on Saturday, December 4^th, 2010. Fans who register will spend the day building alongside cast members, volunteers from daytime’s hottest soap opera and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) partner families at a location in the Los Angeles area. Building safe, decent and energy efficient homes for deserving families will make all the “sweat equity” seem easy. The registration fee is $250 per person and fully tax-deductible. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the registrations will be used to support Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity’s “The House That General Hospital Fans Built”, being built in partnership with HFH GLA. In addition to building with the General Hospital family and HFH GLA partner families, fans will also be treated to breakfast and coffee; lunch with their build group (including GH cast member); a group photo with the build group (including GH cast member); a group photo of the build group with all participating GH cast members); an event T-shirt; a lunch time program including testimonials from Habitat partner families and GH cast members; and many more surprises.
