Dodgers make a Hollywood veteran feel like a kid again...

Guest Blogger: Ned Shapiro, HFH GLA Volunteer

When I showed up to do my volunteer thing on the Bank ofAmerica/Dodgers build day in Lynwood, I had no idea of what was in store for me.  I love volunteering for Habitat for Humanity of Greater L.A. (HFH GLA), just as it is, but this was an extra special bonus.  After 30+ years of working the movie/TV industry, and after having worked closely with actors and directors of considerable note, without giving it much  thought, I was reduced to jelly when my Dodgers started showing up.  To actually meet a boyhood idol like Maury Wills was beyond belief.  I have so much to thank HFH GLA for, and now this!!!!
