Gladys Knight, Maze Headline Concert Benefitting Faithful Central Bible Church & Habitat for Humanity of Greater LA

Gladys Knight and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly will headline a concert honoring Dr. Kenneth C. Ulmer this Friday night, benefitting Faithful Central Bible Church & Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles.  Buy tickets.

In spring of 2012, we launched a new initiative called Celebrate Home & Health with Faithful Central Bible Church to promote and develop healthy homes and healthy families within communities, locally and around the world. Its mission is to provide the leadership, expertise and resources that enable under-served communities to reach and maintain their optimal level of health and well-being and to empower them to obtain sustainable and affordable housing.

Celebrate Home & Health combines education and coalition building to advance environmental and economic empowerment within our community.  With the help of our corporate and civic partners and thousands of caring individuals throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, we plan to build and renovate homes in the local community as well as provide much-needed home exterior repairs (paint, landscaping, roof, etc.) through our A Brush with Kindness’ program. In addition, through our global network, we plan to build and renovate in economically challenged regions of South Africa.

The concert takes place this Friday, October 19th at the Hyatt Century Plaza Hotel and some of the VIPs and celebrities attending include:
